Angela Orozco, MD
Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine
Dr. Orozco is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Divisions of General Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is a Harvard College graduate and completed her medical studies at the University of California, Los Angeles as part of the Charles Drew University Program. She pursued residency training in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics with the Johns Hopkins Urban Health Med/Peds Program. She serves currently as the Deputy Director of Pipeline Initiatives at CentroSOL (Johns Hopkins Center for Salud/Health and Opportunities for Latinos), as well as the Director for Diversity and Inclusion with the Johns Hopkins Urban Residency Program.
As a primary care physician in Baltimore, MD, her mission is improving the care of underserved communities. Her special interests include prevention of chronic diseases, integration of addiction medicine into primary care, and promoting further diversity of the healthcare workforce.
