M.Ed., Academic Program Administrator
Gen Chawluk is originally from Philadelphia via Schuylkill County, PA, and has lived in Baltimore since 2008. Prior to joining the Colleges Advisory Program as the Academic Program Administrator, she worked with the JHU Center for Talented Youth (CTY) as an Assistant Program Manager in the Summer Programs department. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and has a master's degree in education from the University of Virginia Curry School of Education. At UVA, Gen studied Educational Psychology and Gifted/Talented Education, focusing on curriculum and student social and emotional development.
Gen has a passion for working with students and staff alike, and looks forward to bringing that enthusiasm to the Colleges Advisory Program. When not working to support the JHU community, Gen enjoys playing recreational broomball and floor hockey, bingeing a Netflix series, exploring the Baltimore food scene, and pretending to like distance running.
