Thuy Ngo, DO, MEd, FAAP
Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Ngo is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency in pediatrics at INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children, followed by fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. She joined the faculty at Hopkins upon completion of fellowship in 2011. She currently serves as the associate residency program director of The Harriet Lane Pediatric Residency Program. Nationally, she serves as faculty for the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference & Exhibition through the Section of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Ngo has a strong passion and interest in medical education across all “generations” of medical training. In particular, she is interested in fostering mentorship and recently coordinated speed mentoring sessions for the pediatric residents. She envisions expanding this program across all of Hopkins, particularly for the medical students.
